What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Ph. D. or M. S. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, or related field, 3+ years building production AI/ML systems, 1+ years in technical leadership roles, Proven track record of publications in top-tier AI/ML or healthcare informatics conferences, Proven track record of managing and inspiring high-performing AI/ML teams, Deep knowledge of large language models, transformers, and modern deep learning architectures, Expert-level Python skills, Experience in AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX), Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Experience with model monitoring, Experience with experiment tracking (MLflow, Weights & Biases), Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar), Hands-on experience with novel agentic AI architectures (perception module, memory system, planning engine, execution layer with tool use, reasoning module, in-the-flow agentic system optimization), Foundation in distributed systems, Foundation in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Foundation in MLOps, Exceptional ability to navigate complex, ambiguous challenges in healthcare contexts, Excellent skills in explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders across the organization
