The purpose of this role is to provide technical guidance and suggest improvements in development processes. Develop required software features, achieving timely delivery in compliance with the performance and quality standards of the company. **Job Description:** **_Senior Applied AI / GenAI Specialist_** **Theme: Scalable Systems & Technical Leadership** * Design and deliver **scalable AI and GenAI systems** combining ML models, LLMs, retrieval, orchestration, and data pipelines * Lead solution design for **complex, ambiguous problems** where requirements and success criteria evolve * Make **architectural trade-offs** across model selection, retrieval strategies, cost, latency, and scalability * Drive solutions from **proof-of-concept to production-grade systems** used across multiple teams * Act as a **technical anchor** for high-impact AI initiatives, guiding implementation without formal people management * Ensure robustness, observability, and optimization of AI systems in real-world environments * Location: Bangalore (preferred) * YOE: 5–8 years **Location:** DGS India - Mumbai - Thane Ashar IT Park **Brand:** Merkle **Time Type:** Full time **Contract Type:** Permanent
