What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ year track record of building and operating production systems at meaningful scale, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, development skills in Python, working knowledge of at least one systems language, Deep Linux fluency, sharp sense for how distributed systems fail under load, Hands-on experience with agentic systems, Hands-on experience with context engineering, Hands-on experience with harness design, Product instinct, customer view when building tooling for sophisticated internal users, A taste for ops work, an appetite for keeping critical systems healthy, Intellectual curiosity, a bias toward shipping, Reliable and predictable availability
