T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. The Role The AGV Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated guided vehicle (AGV) systems and related production equipment within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role ensures equipment reliability and efficiency by performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and support continuous operations. The technician monitors system performance, identifies and resolves mechanical, electrical, and automation issues, and maintains accurate maintenance and operational records. They also assist with equipment installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring all work meets safety standards and operational specifications. Success in this role requires strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with tools, diagnostic equipment, and data analysis systems. The technician must be adaptable to a fast-paced production environment, committed to safety and quality, and capable of supporting overall equipment longevity and performance. What You’ll Do - Master the structure and working principle of factory production equipment and facilities and learn and improve their own equipment maintenance skills and level. - Conduct regular and scheduled inspection of the production equipment in the factory to ensure that the equipment is in good condition
