What They're Looking For.

Must Have

DoD Secret clearance, Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, systems engineering, physics, or related technical field, 15+ years of experience in SATCOM systems, mission operations, systems engineering, or related defense programs, Deep understanding of DoD SATCOM mission areas, Familiarity with emerging Protected Tactical SATCOM (PTS/PTE) architectures, Understanding of commercial SATCOM providers and architectures, Experience working directly with operational users, mission stakeholders, or military SATCOM programs, Familiarity with Agile development environments, Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Nice to Have

Active Secret or higher clearance, Familiarity with SAFe®, Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile delivery frameworks, Understanding of SATCOM ground systems, network management, mission planning, or C2 systems, Exposure to DevSecOps, cloud-native architectures, or Kubernetes-based mission platforms, Familiarity with digital engineering, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), or requirements traceability practices, Familiarity with proliferated LEO operational concepts, Understanding of AI-enabled mission systems, automated network orchestration, or autonomous SATCOM operations, Experience supporting Space Systems Command (SSC), Space Operations Command (SpOC), or related U. S. Space Force programs, Experience serving as a Product Owner, mission lead, or operational SME within Agile software development teams, Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or related Agile collaboration platforms, Experience supporting hybrid military/commercial SATCOM integration efforts, Experience supporting acquisition, experimentation, or rapid capability insertion programs within DoD space environments, INCOSE CSEP/ESEP certifications
