Must Have
Graduated student from University/ College or equivalent combination of education and experience, Fluent in English, Willing to put in extra hours, as required, Able to work in the team, under high pressure and tight deadline
Nice to Have
Experiences and understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
What You'll Do.
Assist Supervisor/Department Head
Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
Ensure accurate and timely data entry
Track and trace Ocean Export files
Ensure timely clearance and delivery of freight
Ensure documents are sent timely
Communicate arrival notices
Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
Interact with customers in arranging international shipments
Meet customer service standards
Meet compliance to regulations
Follow internal policies and procedures
Follow external government regulations
Follow customer's policies / requirements
Understand department process flow
Look for areas of improved efficiency
Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed
Update customer Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Support Supervisor/ Manager
Build and maintain relationships with customers
Respond to requests for information
Provide competitive market pricing
Assist in retention calls
Complete customer reviews
Document customer reviews
Monitor company reports
Proactively communicate with the team
Ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies
Be a guide for the team
Ensure positive attitude is maintained
Allocate workloads within team
Ensure smooth operations during peak activity
Ensure smooth operations during staff absence
Promote productivity tools within the team
Be continuously open to implementing new system changes
