What You'll Do.
Assist Supervisor/Department Head with all aspects of the Department
Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight
Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
Track and trace Ocean Export files
Ensure timely clearance and delivery of freight to customers
Ensure documents are sent timely and arrival notices communicated
Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments
Meet compliance to regulations
Understand department process flow
Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed
monitoring workboard to ensure internal KPI’s are met
Build and maintaining relationships with customers
timely responding to requests for information
competitive market pricing matching the scope of service
Assist in retention calls
complete customer reviews
Monitor invoicing and other company reports
Proactively communicate with the team
Be a guide for the team
ensure that positive attitude is maintained
Allocate workloads within team
Promote productivity tools within the team
Be continuously open and positive to implementing new system changes
