What You'll Do.
implement and deliver the annual and long-term marketing plans for the Division in line with Activity Direction.
Support and facilitate the development and implementation of business/marketing plans at product level incorporating range development
product life cycle and turnover
margin and profit forecasts.
Plan and manage the Division marketing budget to deliver maximum impact and exposure of the brand name.
Develop and maintain a marketing information resource including Competitor data
SWOT analysis by product group Vs all major competitors
Price positioning matrix
Range available & sales penetration per product at vehicle level
Sales penetration per vehicle at geographic level
Market size and share per major product
Total “Wallet size” per customer/customer group for all major product groups plus % share of available “wallet”
Customer/Group profitability
and Sales analysis by customer to highlight cross-selling opportunities.
Plan and manage the launch of new product catalogues
liaising with region/activity to develop new catalogues to ensure timely cascade of accurate product information.
Develop and maintain a standard operating procedure for the marketing function and document the component processes.
Organize and implement a customer relations strategy including the customer satisfaction survey
customer development activities
Oversee business development activities through strategic planning of customer presentations
coaching for prospective customer meetings
and the design and development of prospecting and customer contact systems.
Oversee Division communication activities including external communications and systems
internal communications and systems
public relations activities
and management of external suppliers and consultants.
Oversee the Division’s electronic marketing strategy including supervision of the website design and maintenance.
Activity & Division purchasing strategy is aligned
applied & respected at all times.
Local responsibility for purchasing decisions & control.
Daily management of purchasing parameters within the local ERP system
in line with the Group core system requirements.

Team & Collaboration
liaising with region/activity to develop new catalogues; working with internal and external stakeholders on communication activities; ensuring alignment with Group, Activity & Division purchasing strategy
Communication Scope
external communications; internal communications; customer presentations; coaching for prospective customer meetings
Process & Methodology
planning and managing marketing plans, managing marketing budget, managing new product catalogue launches, strategic planning of customer presentations, design and development of prospecting and customer contact systems
