Physical Demands: The employee is frequently required to walk and talk and bend, reach, and pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Employees are often required to climb ladders., Work Environment: The temperature in the plant varies seasonally and may be hot and humid in the late summer. The employee may be exposed to the weather outside the plant. The meat room remains cold temperature year round. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud in the production environment. PPE requirements apply.

Lock out/tag out, Fall protection, Emergency evacuations, Inspect, wear and maintain appropriate PPE, Ladder safety, Spill containment and clean-up, Confined space entry, NFPA 70e Arc Flash, Food Defense, GMP’s, Computer and microprocessors experience, Knowledge of safety codes, Knowledge of electrical circuits, Knowledge of plant food safety requirements, Knowledge of NFPA 70e, Knowledge of isolation and elimination of energy sources, Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, Knowledge of electrical systems, Knowledge of PLCs, Knowledge of hydraulics, Knowledge of pneumatics, Ability to work independently, Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, Commitment to safety, Commitment to quality, Commitment to reliability, High School Diploma or equivalent

What You'll Do.
Complete complex maintenance repairs/work orders
Perform routine preventative maintenance of equipment
Clean and sanitize any work area
Complete all tasks in work area
Set up and installation of high speed mechanical seals
Boiler maintenance and troubleshooting
Complete and record required daily wastewater tests
Train lower level Maintenance Techs
