What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent field, 4+ years hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience, 4+ years working with external suppliers, 4+ years driving process improvements, Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools, Experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis, Experience with test plan development, building the necessary test bench infrastructure, developing tests and verifying the design
Nice to Have
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, Experience participating in daily Kaizen events, Familiarity with AS9100 or similar aerospace quality management systems and APQP, Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools, control charts, and capability analysis, Experience leading vendor audits and qualification activities, Advanced knowledge of root cause analysis tools including FMEA and FTA, Experience with stringent regulatory requirements for aerospace production
