What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent, General knowledge in Operational Excellence System, University or extracurricular experience with mechanical design, build, and test, Able to stand/walk for long periods, Able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted, Able to obtain and maintain a US Passport, Meet customs entry requirements, Pass Kennedy Space Center background check, U. S. citizen or national, U. S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U. S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Nice to Have

Experience working with interdisciplinary teams, Experience working with Foreign Object Debris (FOD), Experience working with ESD sensitive hardware, Experience in a clean room, Experience with forklifts, cranes, rigging, and heavy equipment, Previous certifications for heavy equipment, 1+ years' experience authoring and executing mechanical and test work instructions, 2+ years' experience working with space flight hardware, Experience with hands-on satellite assembly build and integration, Experience with rework, repairs, and troubleshooting, Experience working with electrically energized systems, Experience in a fast-paced processing environment, Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, Experience with handling and tracking systems for continuous material flow, 1+ years' experience defining test and operation requirements, Familiar with QTP/ATP, Familiar with production test methods, Familiar with use of data acquisitions and collection systems, Familiar with satellite builds and launch operations

Operate overhead cranes

Run scripts and commands

Review spacecraft data

Author work instructions
