Fluent in English, Fluent in Mandarin, 5+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience, Focus on Data Center, Campus, and WIFI solutions, Presentation skills, Selling skills, Communication of complex technical material, Solid understanding and knowledge of how to build successful relationships between an equipment manufacturer and a customer base of executives, architects, engineers and operations teams, Good interpersonal skills, Customer relations skills, Problem management skills, Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure, Ability to work to strict deadlines, Experience creating technical material, Recent experience in leaf-spine architecture design, Expert knowledge in Ethernet, Expert knowledge in RSTP/ MSTP, Expert knowledge in VLANs, Expert knowledge in IP Routing, Expert knowledge in TCP/IP, Expert knowledge in OSPF, Expert knowledge in BGP, Expert knowledge in eBGP, Expert knowledge in VxLAN, Expert knowledge in EVPN, Expert knowledge in Multicast, Expert knowledge in Spanning Tree, Expert knowledge in QoS, Expert level knowledge of industry-standard CLI
Nice to Have
MBA/MS degree, Network Industry Certification preferred (e.g. CCIE (R&S), JNCIE, ACE-5, 6, 7), Sales Engineer experience, Solutions Architect experience, Pre-Sales SE experience, Network Consulting Engineer experience, Previous experience building network automation using Python and Ansible, Writing skills and ability to create informative white papers on technology and products
What You'll Do.
Provide onsite technical systems engineering support
Act as a trusted advisor for customers
Identify opportunities with existing and new customers
Conduct whiteboard network architectural reviews
Present Arista product solutions
Own the pre-sales and post-sales technical relationship
Build and maintain deep knowledge of Arista technologies
Support and help enable channel partner engineers
Support and help enable customers' engineers and architects
Execute technical Quarterly Business Reviews
Support onsite requirements at customer site
Facilitate technical training on Arista products
design and propose Arista network solutions
Perform hands-on testing
Put together design guidelines
Recommend improvements to customers for networks
Partner with Sales Team to respond to RFP/RFQs
Author feature requests
Author business justifications
Provide feedback to Product Management
Provide feedback to Hardware Development
Provide feedback to Software Development
Represent Arista at industry events
Present technical content to worldwide organizations
Create technical marketing materials
Author white papers on technology and product
