What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Fluent in English and Mandarin, BS/CS/CE Business or Technical degree, Minimum 5+ years L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience, Focus on Data Center, Campus, and WIFI solutions, Presentation and selling skills, Communication of complex technical material, Solid understanding of building successful relationships, Experience creating technical material, Recent experience in leaf-spine architecture design, Expert knowledge in Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, eBGP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, Spanning Tree, QoS, Expert level knowledge of industry-standard CLI
Nice to Have
MBA/MS degree a plus, Network Industry Certification preferred, Demonstrated work experience as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE or Network Consulting Engineer preferred, Previous experience building network automation using Python and Ansible HIGHLY desired, Writing skills and ability to create informative white papers on technology and products is highly desired
What You'll Do.
Provide onsite technical systems engineering support
Act as a trusted advisor for customers
Identify opportunities with customers
Collaborate with Account Managers
Gain business and technological understanding of clients
Conduct network architectural reviews
Identify areas for improvement
Conduct product presentations
Own the pre-sales technical relationship
Own the post-sales technical relationship
Build deep knowledge of Arista technologies
Support channel partner engineers
Help enable customers' engineers and architects
Execute technical Quarterly Business Reviews
Support onsite requirements
Facilitate technical training
Architect Data Center network solutions
Design Data Center network solutions
Propose Data Center network solutions
Architect Campus network solutions
Design Campus network solutions
Propose Campus network solutions
Perform hands-on testing
Validate customer proof-of-concept setups
Validate Data Center network designs
Validate Campus network designs
Validate network deployments
Put together design guidelines
Recommend improvements to customers
Partner with Sales Team
Author feature requests
Author business justifications
Provide feedback to Product Management
Provide feedback to Hardware Development
Provide feedback to Software Development
Represent Arista at industry events
Represent Arista at conferences
Present technical content virtually
Present technical content in-person
Create technical marketing materials
