Must Have

Minimum five years of direct experience in the B. C. provincial government and/or in a government relations role for a B. C. -based mining company, Bachelor's degree in political science or equivalent, Sound knowledge of the policy development and legislative process, Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, qualitative and quantitative research and analytical skills, Organized and attention to detail, Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent, Willingness to satisfy pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references

What You'll Do.

Participate in health and safety programs

Monitor provincial and federal policy activities

Develop briefing notes and backgrounders

Co-ordinate government submissions

Oversee lobbyist reporting requirements

Represent EVR in committees

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborate with Communications, Indigenous Relations, Projects, Environmental Performance, and Marketing teams; Work with senior leaders; Engage with industry associations and stakeholders
