What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience, 2-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, operations, reporting, or a similar analytical role, analytical skills with demonstrated experience working with large datasets, Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large-scale data manipulation), Ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and key data drivers, and translate findings into clear recommendations, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for varied audiences, Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines simultaneously, Experience in waste management, recycling, environmental services, logistics, facilities, or multifamily operations, Familiarity with waste-related billing structures (hauls, tonnage, overages, fees, compactor services), Experience supporting national accounts, large portfolios, or multi-site operations
Nice to Have
Working knowledge of Power BI (or similar) for data architecture, dashboard maintenance, and troubleshooting, Familiarity with Salesforce, ClickUp, or comparable CRM and project management platforms, Comfort using AI tools to support data analysis, visualization, and process efficiency, Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders inside and outside the organization, Ability to provide training and share best practices on reporting and program processes

This role is responsible for managing large datasets, maintaining recurring reporting deliverables, and identifying actionable opportunities to improve service performance, contract compliance, and operational consistency. This position partners closely with internal stakeholders, national vendors, and on-site property teams. While primarily internal-facing, the Analyst will support select client interactions by translating data into clear, actionable insights and supporting program-level decisions across a large and diverse property base.
