What You'll Do.
Control supplier-related milestones
Ensure involvement of suppliers
Maintain and document supplier and material status
Drive and control change management process
Drive sourcing to achieve best cost
Send request for quotation
Safeguard supplier risk exposure
Create and maintain sourcing documentation
Track component development and validation
Ensure hand-over to plant purchasing
Commercial responsibility for material costs
Generate and maintain bill of material
Participate in design-to-cost activities
Calculate and control BOM
Responsible for sourcing after SOP
Initiate or support redesign-to-cost
Evaluate cost optimization ideas
Tracking of introduction of material-related ReDTC measures
Translate BA product/technology roadmap
Conduct strategy reviews
Initiate scouting activities
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Act as the interface to the purchasing categories; Support purchasing activities in series production; Support category purchasing in negotiations; Work with Engineering
