What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2-3 years of experience in Purchasing or project functions, Experience in working with international teams on purchasing issues, Understanding and capability to collaborate with different foreign cultures (NAFTA, Asia, several European cultures), Good command of English, both written and verbal, Communication skills including presentation and negotiation techniques, Technical understanding of specific components / products, Procurement Process and Product Life Cycle (PLC) knowledge, Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot, PowerQuery, XLOOKUP, data analysis), Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting, PowerPoint skills for creating structured, insightful presentations, Confidence in working with digital tools, dashboards and data-driven decision processes
What You'll Do.
Lead all material-related topics in project team
Control supplier-related milestones during product development
Follow-up on supplier and material status
Ensure smooth hand-over to Plant Purchasing
Responsible for sourcing after SOP
Responsible for component sourcing and supplier selection
Support final negotiations with Category Management
Ensure timely Supplier Component Review
Support cost Reduction Programs after SOP
Achieve best cost structure for acquisitions
Drive digitalization initiatives within Purchasing
Utilize digital tools for analysis and reporting

Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with different foreign cultures; Work with international teams on purchasing issues; Support final negotiations in conjunction with Category Management
