Full Job Description

AT A GLANCE RVO Health seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our interdisciplinary medical weight loss team. As a provider, you will diagnose, treat, and manage obesity as a chronic disease and its related comorbidities. This whole-person, programmatic primary care model transforms virtual healthcare nationwide by supporting each patient with care navigators, case managers, dietitians, and medical providers. This fully remote, full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays. We’re excited to begin accepting applications! What You’ll Do You will deliver virtual primary care focused on obesity management through synchronous (real-time) virtual telemedicine. All duties must comply with state and federal laws and adhere to evidence-based medical standards. This role offers the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere in the U. S. while tackling important healthcare challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive virtual medical weight loss care including patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, chronic condition management and follow-up care. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including dietitians, care navigators, case managers, behavioral health professionals and external specialists to ensure coordinated whole person care. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe appropriate medications and evidence-based treatment regimens, and adjust care plans as clinically indicated. Engage patients in shared decision-making, clearly explaining treatment options, risk and benefits while promoting adherence to prescribed regimens and follow-up care. Deliver culturally responsive, patient-centered counseling that fosters sustainable lifestyle changes and ensures a safe, respectful space for patients to share challenges and successes.
