Managing a distinct patient population
Performing outpatient and inpatient care
Facilitating discharges and outpatient follow-up
Ensuring adherence to clinical pathways/protocols

Performing and documenting patient assessments
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
Formulating and implementing care plans
Prescribing diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions
Performing advanced procedures
