Your Impact The Experienced Travel Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician in the PEARCE Renewables Energy Storage Systems (ESS) division performs tasks involving operations and maintenance (O&M) and physical labor at commercial and industrial solar energy projects located throughout United States. This is up to a 100% travel role across the United States. Preferred candidates should reside in Atlanta, Georgia. Core Responsibilities Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment. Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) of equipment as an authorized person and under properly performed LOTO conditions. Conduct daily safety and task planning discussions including pre-task planning, Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs). Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner. Act as a team member to support site work which could include supervising field work onsite focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
