What You'll Do.
Serve as initial point of contact
Communicate with referral sources
Enter screening and referral information
Generate initial referral information
Facilitate completion of supporting documentation
Present summary to team
Complete prior authorization
Assemble information to establish medical necessity
Justify initial and continued service
Make recommendations to team
Attend and participate in meetings
Complete documentation in EHR
Maintain current licensure and certification
Complete record audits
Comply with agency policies
Comply with state and federal statutes
Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures
Assist in crisis situations
Participate in on call coverage

Effectively communicate with referral sources. * Enter screening and referral information in the electronic health record system. * Generate initial referral information about the youth and facilitate completion of supporting documentation. Present summary to the Interdisciplinary team for determination decision. Follow up with referral source on outcome of determination decision. * Completes prior authorization within identified timeframes.
