Must Have
A health care professional licensed to practice in the state of Georgia, at least one year of supervisory or management experience in a hospice setting, An individual with education, training, and experience in health service administration, at least two years of supervisory or management experience in a hospice setting, Ability to meet Hospice's conditions of employment regarding health clearance, and provisions of professional references, An Associate’s degree in Nursing, A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work (MSW), Valid Driver’s License

What You'll Do.
Directs clinical and administrative activities
Provides direct clinical support
Ensures policies and procedures are developed
Ensure implementation of policies and procedures
Ensures compliance with Medicare Conditions
Develops hospice goals and objectives
Oversees hospice quality assessment
Conducts community hospice needs assessment
Assists in negotiation and coordination
Plans and implements program development
Makes recommendations for program expansion
Establishes and maintains physician relationships
Provides information and serves as liaison
Prepares yearly Hospice budget
Assures financial success and viability
Ensures complete and accurate personnel records
Conducts annual performance appraisals
Assists staff in understanding mission
Oversees employee orientation program
Maintains and promotes an open environment
Ensures/implements/promotes/supports quality assessment
Ensures mechanisms for effective communication
Promotes image and reputation
Contributes to work of committees
Performs other duties as necessary

Team & Collaboration
Liaison between Governing Body, Medical Staff, and Hospice Staff; Works with Quality Assessment Performance Improvement Department; Works with interdisciplinary group; Works with physicians, community agencies, social service departments, nursing homes, acute care facilities, and home care agencies; Contributes to committees, workgroups, project management, and collaborative efforts
