Ability to meet Hospice's conditions of employment regarding health clearance, provisions of professional references, Valid Driver’s License

Must Have

licensed to practice in the state of Georgia, at least one year of supervisory or management experience in a hospice setting, An Associate’s degree in Nursing, A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work (MSW), Valid Driver’s License

What You'll Do.

Directs clinical and administrative activities

Provides leadership and supervision

Ensures policies and procedures are developed

Ensure implementation of policies

Ensures compliance with regulations

Develops hospice goals and objectives

Oversees quality assessment activities

Conducts community needs assessment

Assists in negotiation of agreements

Plans and implements program development

Establishes and maintains physician relationships

Provides information to agencies

Prepares yearly Hospice budget

Assures financial success

Oversees recruitment and selection

Conducts annual performance appraisals

Assists staff in understanding mission

Oversees employee orientation program

Maintains and promotes supportive environment

Ensures quality assessment activities

Ensures effective communication mechanisms

Promotes image and reputation

Contributes to committees and workgroups

Performs other duties as necessary

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Liaison between Governing Body, Medical Staff, and Hospice Staff; Works with Quality Assessment Performance Improvement Department; Works with pharmacies, medical equipment companies, and supplemental services; Works with physicians, community agencies, social service departments, nursing homes, acute care facilities, and home care agencies; Contributes to committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts
