What You'll Do.

Provides administrative support for the Nursing department

Exercises discretion and independent judgment

Coordinates administrative support functions

Plans and coordinates administrative activities and services

Participates in the planning and execution of administrative operations

May serve as the office manager

Monitors office procedures

and ensures adherence to office procedures

Assist in the development of budget and grant funding tracking

Records meeting minutes and tracks completion of tasks for various faculty committees

and/or implements management policies or operating practices

Develops administrative and technical procedures

and responds to inquiries about rules

policies and procedures

Maintains current knowledge of University and School of Nursing policies and procedures and may monitor compliance

Performs special analyses and project summaries

Prepares and reviews operational and special reports and compliance with regulatory reporting

Coordinates office records retention and maintains office references and resources materials

Coordinates travel arrangements and prepares itineraries

Plans and coordinates meetings

and other special events

Coordinates the maintenance of office supplies and equipment

Makes recommendations for process improvements
