Full Job Description

The Administrative Assistant III is located at our main downtown location at 101 E. 15th Street, Austin, Texas. TWC is not considering applications from individuals who require sponsorship for an employment visa, including those with H1B visas or those currently on student or postgraduate visas. You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas. WHO YOU ARE: You have the Administrative Assistant experience to perform complex (journey-level) administrative support work. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment, meets deadlines and has an attention for detail.   YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO: -Prepare and disseminate information concerning agency programs and services. -Review forms for accuracy with an acute attention to detail -Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, studies, forms, and documents. -Answer phones and professionally respond to email inquiries -Interpret rules, regulations, policies and procedures. -Enter data in data bases and Excel spreadsheets. -Proof, review, and prepare various documents for processing or mailing -Perform other related work as assigned.   YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH: -Experience as an Administrative Assistant experience for minimum of two years. -Experience with Windows-based PC programs, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. -Experience with writing, emailing, and sending correspondence. -Experience with data entry. -Detail oriented to quality check documents. -Ability to work with a large
