Must Have
Professional experience in teaching Spanish at the K-12 or at the university level, Near-native fluency in written and spoken Spanish, MA in Spanish Pedagogy, Applied Linguistics, Education, or related field, At least one degree (BA, MA, PhD) must be in Spanish, Attend meetings, trainings, professional development sessions, and other required events, Hold office hours and communicate with students, faculty, and office staff via email, Participate in the annual Foreign Language Fair
Nice to Have
Experience teaching beginning and intermediate levels, Familiarity/skill with online teaching and/or technology

Teach undergraduate Spanish pedagogy courses
Teach undergraduate Spanish language courses
Teach undergraduate Spanish literature courses
Teach undergraduate Spanish culture courses
Work in the Spanish Writing and Grammar Lab
Coordinate student teaching placements
Conduct observation visits for preservice teachers
