**Job Title:** Adjunct Teaching - Dance Dept - Ballet Dance Instructor **Posting End Date:** May 28, 2026 *NOTE: Last day to apply is Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 11:59 PM (MST) **Position Start Date:** August 17, 2026 **Required Degree:** BA/BS/BFA required; MFA preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date. **Experience:** Teaching Ballet at a pre-professional and/or university level. **Duties/Expectations:** We seek an adjunct ballet instructor in the Department of Dance. The candidate’s primary duty will be to teach ballet at any level, beginning, intermediate, and advanced, commensurate with the candidate's level of expertise and the needs of the ballet area. The candidate will be working under the ballet area coordinator and should be willing to improve their teaching through feedback and professional development. Required meetings will include company auditions, university conference, monthly area meetings, and any additional meetings as called by the coordinator. **Information required at the time of application **– Please list the individual contact information for each of your three recommenders on the faculty application.
