**Job Title:** Adjunct Researcher - Physics & Astronomy - Davis Research **Posting End Date:** May 27, 2026 *NOTE: Last day to apply isTuesday, May 26, 2026, at 11:59pm (MST) **Position Start Date:** June 8, 2026 **Required Degree:** Bachelor's or Master's in Physics and Astronomy or related area. The required degree must be completed by the start date. **Experience:** _Required Experience:_ * Experience with chemical surface functionalization. * Experience with spectroscopic ellipsometry layer characterization. _Preferred experience:_ * XPS characterization of organic monolayers. * Capture of Nucleic acids on surfaces and characterization by fluorescence and XPS. **Duties/Expectations:** Will analyze surface chemistry results for polymer attachment to surfaces.
