Master of Music degree in Piano Performance or Piano Pedagogy, Two (2) years teaching experience in the disciplines including group piano and applied lessons, Expertise in appropriate technologies for instruction, Demonstrated commitment to teaching and learning, Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence, Demonstrated commitment to the college’s core values of respect and inclusion, sustainability, integrity, collaboration, humor and well-being, innovation and quality
Nice to Have
Doctorate of Music in Piano performance, Teaching experience at the collegiate level, Experience at the community college level, Experience with traditional and non-traditional students from diverse backgrounds, Experience in teaching online and/or using course management programs, Experience in course development and assessment, planning, quality and accreditation processes, and committee service, English and Spanish verbal and written communication proficiency, Demonstrated multicultural competence
