What They're Looking For.
Must Have
minimum of four (4) years of related and verifiable work experience, Master’s (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Technology, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Digital Communications, Anthropology, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, Knowledge of sensation (physiology) and perception (psychology) related to human-technology interaction required
Nice to Have
Master’s degree, Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification or UX Master Certification preferred, Google UX Design Certificate preferred, Experience in Agile Software Development preferred, Experience designing for multiple platforms preferred, Teaching or Mentoring experience preferred, Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Illustrator, XD, Photoshop, and Figma preferred
What You'll Do.
Create an environment of learning through effective teaching skills
maintain student-centered focus
stay current with relevant industry standards
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and encourage active learning
Perform lectures for campus courses
hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses
Teaching will be conducted through on-campus and online delivery
Interact positively with diverse student
provide all students with equal opportunities for learning
Demonstrate a commitment to the industry
maintain knowledge and skill relevancy through continuing education as defined in the faculty development plan
Adheres to the policies and procedures of Full Sail University
Maintains strict confidentiality of student and company information
Performs other duties as assigned
