Must be able to travel weekly to required location(s), Must be able to lift 25 lbs, Typical office setting, Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor, Travel via plane, car, and metro may be required to perform this job, Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant, Access information using a computer, Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain, Effectively cope with stressful situations, mental acuity, Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job, Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Must Have
Master’s degree in English, English Education, or Communications required, Master’s degree in related area with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Composition and/or Communications and/or Literature required, Must be able to travel weekly to required location(s), Must be able to lift 25 lbs, Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant, Access information using a computer, Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain, Effectively cope with stressful situations, mental acuity, Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job
Nice to Have
Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching experience are strongly preferred, Evidence of professional or academic experience with oral communication, active listening, persuasion, and collaboration preferred, A terminal degree, or work towards a terminal degree, is preferred, Professional certification in discipline specialty (if applicable)
What You'll Do.
Provides quality education and maintains high standards of academic excellence in teaching assigned courses in the discipline.

maintains office hours as assigned
Teach courses as assigned from a pre-designed curriculum and utilize your professional expertise to provide high-quality instruction.
Enhance the strength and effectiveness of the curriculum using technology and videos.
Arrive on-campus at least half an hour prior to the start time of in-person sessions per week during the academic quarter.
Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience for the online component of the course.
Be available to students via email
and office hours to ensure students receive quality feedback in a timely manner to support their academic success.
Establish high standards and ensure students understand how they will be evaluated.
Adhere to University policies and procedures.
Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required.
