Position Title: Adjunct, Biology Time Type: Part time Position Summary and Qualifications: Saint Joseph's University Department of Biology has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester. Professionals with experience and a passion for teaching at the undergraduate level will be given preference. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct one or two courses each semester on an " as needed" basis. Courses available for adjunct staffing are offered during the day and also in the evening. Courses available for adjunct staffing may include: Non- Major courses: 1\. Bio 160: Heredity and Evolution – an introductory course in DNA, genetics and evolutionary principles. 2\. Bio 161: The Human Organism - an elementary course in basic principles of human anatomy, physiology, and genetics. 3\. Bio 165: Exploring the Living World – a lecture/Laboratory course covering the nature of science, cell biology and heredity, biodiversity, ecology, and human evolution and physiology 4\. Bio 260-261BIO 175-185: Anatomy and Physiology for Nursing and Allied Health I and II Major Courses: 5\.
