Graduation from accredited four-year college or university, Major coursework in human resources, organizational development, or education, Three years of full-time experience, Twelve semester hours of graduate study may substitute for one year of experience, Doctorate degree satisfies minimum requirement, One additional year of qualifying experience may substitute for college, Willing and able to participate in extended blindfold-immersion training, Flexible working hours, Work involves travel up to 5% of time, Must be a Texas resident or willing to relocate to Texas, Must complete required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire

What You'll Do.
Teach and instruct students in skills for independent
Coordinate appropriate services for students based on assessments
Plan and deliver training plans to students
Provide community resources
Administer and score evaluations for training potential
Analyze evaluations for training potential
Review and assess documentation
Coordinate vocational rehabilitative services
Develop and evaluate community resources
Provide information and referrals
Identify appropriate instructional methods
Develop training aids
Facilitate presentations to community groups
Notify staff of student progress
Coordinate development and implementation of individual lesson plans
Assist in job coordinating functions
Perform related work as assigned

To support our mission, we are looking for an Adaptive Skills Instructor II-IV to join the Adaptive Skills Department. This position is located at the Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center in Austin at 4800 N Lamar Blvd. TWC is not considering applications from individuals who require sponsorship for an employment visa, including those with H1B visas or those currently on student or postgraduate visas.
