Master's degree in actuarial mathematics, mathematics, statistics, engineering or related quantitative field, Coding experience in R, Python, SQL or Power BI, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Ability to work confidently with data, assumptions and quantitative models, Commercial mindset
Nice to Have
Understanding of reinsurance pricing processes, Familiarity with MetaRisk or similar analytical platforms, Knowledge of Property, Casualty or other long-tailed lines of businesses, Experience or interest in using modern analytics, data visualisation and AI digital tools

## Company: Guy Carpenter ## ## Description: Guy Carpenter is looking for an actuarial candidate to join our Stockholm office **Role********Description****:** In this role, you will support clients in the design, evaluation and execution of reinsurance programmes through** advanced analytics, actuarial insight and commercial problem-solving** . From day one, you will contribute to work that has a real impact on client decisions. You will help transform complex risk, pricing and portfolio analyses into** clear, actionable insights** that support client strategy, reinsurance placement and business performance. You will work closely with brokers, actuaries and analytics colleagues to deliver high-quality advisory support tailored to client needs, market conditions and commercial objectives. This is a role where technical expertise and business understanding go hand in hand. This role offers an excellent platform to develop both your technical actuarial capabilities and your commercial advisory skills , while building strong client exposure early in your career. **Key Responsibilities: ** * Work closely with brokers and senior team members to understand client needs and contribute to reinsurance advice, programme evaluation and commercially relevant recommendations. * Apply actuarial and reinsurance tools, including MetaRisk where relevant, to assess risk exposures, compare reinsurance structures and support decision-making. * Interpret model outputs, identify key findings and communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Collaborate effectively across teams and contribute to managing multiple projects, timelines and client priorities in a dynamic environment. **What you need to have:** * A master’s degree in actuarial mathematics, mathematics, statistics, engineering or another related quantitative field. * Coding experience in one or more languages such as** R, Python, SQL or Power BI** . * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
