You will find we offer more than the basics to create an inclusive and dynamic work environment at our various locations. **Purpose:** Athene is seeking a highly motivated Actuarial Associate III to join the Actuarial Model Development team. This role plays a key role in the design, enhancement, and governance of actuarial models that support financial reporting, pricing, and strategic decision-making. This position operates at the intersection of actuarial science, data, and technology, requiring strong technical expertise, ownership of model outcomes, and collaboration across valuation, pricing, ALM, and IT. The role is expected to independently deliver high-quality modeling solutions, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of modeling capabilities across the organization. **Accountabilities:** * Develop, enhance, and own components of actuarial models used for Statutory, GAAP, Capital, Asset Adequacy, and internal management reporting * Ensure models are accurate, well-controlled, and delivered on time, proactively identifying and resolving issues * Partner cross-functionally with IT, valuation, pricing, and experience studies teams to influence model design, data flows, and assumptions * Independently implement model changes related to new products, regulatory requirements, and methodology updates * Perform validation and testing of complex actuarial models, including critical review of assumptions, methodologies, and outputs * Identify model limitations, emerging risks, and opportunities for improvement, and recommend actionable solutions * Contribute to model governance, documentation, and control frameworks, ensuring alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations * Drive improvements in actuarial proc
