Must Have

Nice to Have
Prior experience as an Activity Aide in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Intermediate Care Facility (ICF), or Assisted Living Facility (ALF) is strongly preferred., Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or patient documentation systems is preferred.
What You'll Do.
Lead engaging group events

Lead stimulating individual cognitive and memory retention activities for our long-term residents
Maintain accurate documentation in PointClickCare (EMR system)
Collaborate with our health care teams to individualize your approach
You may be asked to drive and/or escort residents to off-site events
appointments or activities utilizing our facility van

Full Job Description
* Start Date: ASAP, we have a new employee orientation class starting soon * Hourly Wage Estimate: $15.50 per hour * Status: Part Time, 2-3 shifts during the week, with an every other weekend rotation * Schedule: 12pm-8pm with an every other weekend rotation(Sat & Sun) When you're a patient, games, music, and engagement can be the highlight of your day. We’re seeking an Activity Aide to engage residents in a therapeutic program in our behavioral health facility. This is not a therapist's position, but you will help residents with life enrichment and entertainment to help keep them engaged in their recovery programs while they are with us. We are seeking candidates with a strong background in sports , culture, music , and traditional recreational activities , to help bring joy, structure, and stimulation to those in our care. When you're a patient, games, music, and entertainment can be the highlight of your day. We know that emotional well-being is just as important as clinical care, and that’s where you come in. We’re seeking an Activity Aide to involve residents in a therapeutic engagement program. You will help residents with life enrichment activities and a variety of entertainment options to help keep them engaged in their recovery programs. We are seeking candidates with a strong background in sports , culture, music , and traditional recreational activities , to help bring joy, structure, and stimulation to those in our care.
