Full Job Description
The Amazon Customer Excellence System team (ACES) is seeking an enthusiastic, data- driven, and technology-minded Process Owner to contribute to country expansion. The ACES PSE (Process and Systems Engineering) is a team of Process Owners with the mission to support Fulfilment Centre (FC) & Inbound Cross-Docking (IXD) process improvement on behalf of Amazon customers. As the intermediary between operations and software teams, our team is responsible for project execution, process maintenance and troubleshooting, and change management for new hardware and software deployments in our FCs & IXDs. We own the virtual process setup, software, and equipment standardization and design & rollout of software projects. We define launch standards and provide end-to- end support for new FC/IXD launches and ad-hoc FC/IXD process support. Our vision, together with the Amazon Fulfilment Technology team, is to develop efficient and reliable systems enabling our operations teams to process and fulfill customer shipments on time and free of defects. This role sits at the heart of space management and slotting program — a transformational shift in how Amazon fulfillment customer orders across. As the Space Process Owner, you will be the go-to expert for one of the most operationally impactful processes in the FC network: the systematic assignment of ASINs to optimal storage locations. Slotting directly determines picking efficiency, replenishment frequency, transfer cancellation rates, and labour productivity across the entire network. You will be building this capability from the ground up for the country, drawing on other regions learning while shaping a uniquely country model. A successful candidate will work in partnership with existing Process Owners and the worldwide Subject Matter Experts (SME) network towards the design, development, and tactical execution of slotting process improvement plans and new product development plans. This role requires the ability to travel up to 40%
