Full Job Description
We are Amazon's Finance Operations Services organization (FinOps), responsible for the company's Accounts Payables (AP) and Receivables (AR) Teams. Our mission is to ensure on-time, accurate payments, billings, and collections for North American Business Channels. If motivating effective teams, diving deep into data, and driving process improvements are your key strengths, then Amazon's Finance Operations Accounts Receivable team has the perfect role for you. The HQ2 Service Center is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst who will work directly with customers, upstream billing, sales, and finance teams to coordinate timely revenue collection. The ideal candidate will own customer relationships and provide day-to-day support to enable prompt payments. This position will lead efforts to analyze vendor payment data, drive process improvements, standardize procedures, and eliminate root-cause defects within existing systems. This role is located in our new headquarters in Northern Virginia, where Amazon will invest $2.5 billion, occupy 4 million square feet of energy-efficient office space, and create at least 25,000 new full-time jobs.
