What They're Looking For.
Must Have
ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification, At least five years of increasing responsibility in accounting or finance, preferably within regulated Financial Services (e.g., payment institutions or banks), Hands-on experience with the full accounting cycle, from journal entry to reporting, including month-end and year-end closings, Professional proficiency in both English and Japanese
Nice to Have
IFRS and US GAAP knowledge, Experience working within Japanese multinationals or multicultural environments, Additional European languages
What You'll Do.
Lead the regional Finance team
Ensure all internal and external deadlines are met
Oversee financial accounting
and control internal and external financial statements
Manage Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Evaluate and implement systems to drive automation and operational efficiency
Oversee treasury management
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Cooperate with global offices to ensure transparency and alignment on financial matters at a group level; Participate in internal and global projects to coordinate processes across the wider corporate group; Collaborate with Operations and Compliance teams; Provide timely escalations and reports to Management, the Board of Directors, and Group Head Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to high-level stakeholders
