What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BS'c degree in Economics, Accounting & Finance, or Business Administration, At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, knowledge and hands-on experience with IFRS, Excellent knowledge and experience with SAP
Nice to Have
MS'c degree in a related financial field, Professional certifications in Greek GAAP and IFRS, Certified A’ Class Accountant license
What You'll Do.
Ensure smooth operation of accounting department
and evaluate accounting team
Ensure accurate accounting records
Monitor and manage tax obligations
Oversee myData functioning and submissions
Prepare financial statements
Prepare management reports
Participate in annual financial closing
Liaise with external partners
Perform bank reconciliations
Review balance sheets
Support team with financial analyses
Drive process improvements
Implement internal controls
Implement compliance procedures

Team & Collaboration
Supervise, guide, and evaluate the accounting team; Liaise with external partners and auditors; Support the team with ad hoc financial analyses
Communication Scope
Excellent command of both Greek and English
