Full Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE A fast-growing healthtech company operating at the intersection of telemedicine, prescription skincare, and eCommerce is looking for an Accounting Manager to join its Finance team. This is a high-impact role responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of financial operations as the business continues to expand across eCommerce, inventory, and healthcare-related activities. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead and own the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting. - Oversee core accounting functions: revenue recognition (ASC 606), inventory, intercompany transactions, payroll, AP/AR, and fixed assets. - Review and manage preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages. - Perform balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analyses to deliver actionable business insights. - Manage treasury activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity optimization. - Partner with Supply Chain to improve inventory controls, reporting, and forecasting, including cycle counts and inventory turns. - Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and documentation. - Identify and implement process improvements and automation to support scale. - Manage, mentor, and develop staff accountants to foster a high-performance team. - Support external audits and readiness for public reporting requirements. - Collaborate cross-functionally to drive accountability, transparency, and operational efficiency. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred. - 5+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting, with 2–3 years in a manager role. - Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles, including ASC 606. - Hands-on experience across inventory accounting, intercompany transactions, payroll, AP/AR, and fixed assets. - Treasury management experience: cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investme
