Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Lead the accounting and reporting activities related to vendor funding programs, ensuring accuracy across promotions, discounts, and inventory-related financial adjustments while maintaining US GAAP compliance. Oversee month-end close processes, including general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and preparation of financial reporting deliverables. Ensure robust financial controls by designing, implementing, and maintaining SOX and non-SOX processes aligned with internal policies and audit requirements. Manage team performance and resources, supporting deadlines while building a high-performing controllership function through coaching, development, and performance management. Partner with cross-functional and international stakeholders to provide accounting guidance on business initiatives and evolving operational needs. Support financial reporting requirements, ad-hoc analysis, and technical accounting research to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Lead and contribute to strategic and operational projects aimed at improving financial processes, systems, and controls. Requirements: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within mid-to-large organizations, including strong exposure to complex financial environments. 3+ years of leadership experience managing accounting teams and developing talent. Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge of US GAAP. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience handling large and complex datasets. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization. Experience with ERP systems, BI tools, and advanced MS Office applications.
