What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in accounting required, 8+ years relevant accounting experience required, Expert excel skills are required
Nice to Have
Active CPA license is preferred, 5+ years in Industry preferred, 3+ years Public Accounting experience preferred
What You'll Do.
drive the day-to-day accounting functions including G/L
and annual closing procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
Gross and Net Revenue
and expense (concur) functions.
Responsible for financial reporting and HQ Reporting packages.
Owns the Month-end Close Process
Ensures Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations are completed and reviewed
Ensure that proper general ledger supporting documentation with adequate explanation is created.
Ensure internal controls are effectively operating.
Take a lead role in updating and improving accounting systems and processes.
Assisting with interim and year-end financial audits.
Assist with the organization’s compliance with federal
SALT and international tax and regulatory matters.
Cross-training in full range of accounting functions and act as back up for those functions as necessary.
Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.
Initiate and assist in Process flow documentations for accounting functions.
