What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, accrual accounting / GAAP financials, managing multi-entity, multi-location, or multi-segment businesses, QuickBooks Online (and/or Desktop/Enterprise), Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, processing payroll using systems such as Gusto, U. S. sales tax filings, written and verbal English communication skills
Nice to Have
NetSuite, Paylocity or ADP, Ramp or Bill. com, Clockify, outsourced accounting firms

Execute month-end close processes
Prepare financial reports
Ensure compliance with accounting standards
Maintain clean workpapers
Process payroll accurately
Manage employee onboarding
Oversee accounts payable
Oversee accounts receivable
Maintain general ledger accuracy
Manage day-to-day accounting activities
Calculate and file U. S. sales tax
Maintain compliance documentation
Support budgeting and forecasting
Provide financial analysis
Review accounting processes
Identify process inefficiencies
Standardize workflows
Communicate with leadership
Support client-facing communication
