Ensure integrity, compliance, and quality of financial information; Ensure robust internal controls; Ensure operational efficiency; Ensure compliance with IFRS; Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements; Ensure compliance with tax frameworks; Ensure timely and accurate submission of all required financial regulatory deliverables; Ensure consistency between local and Group books; Ensure that reported positions align with company best practices; Guarantee timely delivery of all required information and reports; Ensure compliance with internal policies; Ensure timely submissions; Ensure proper audit management; Ensure periodic reporting to both the regulator and the Group; Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs; Optimize SAP usage; Standardize procedures; Ensure compliance with regulatory indicators; escalating any deviations as necessary; Ensure accurate and timely filing of returns
Industry & Context.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
7-10+ years of experience within insurance companies, at least 5 years in accounting teams with direct exposure to local regulatory reporting, knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements, proven experience managing external auditors, Fluent in English, Fluent in Spanish
Nice to Have
Experience in roles such as Coordinator, Specialist, or Head of Accounting, people management with at least one direct report, Familiarity with IFRS, Master's degree
