What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Previous accounting experience and/or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
Nice to Have
Prior hotel accounting experience is a plus, Experience with OPERA or a comparable property management system and cashiering functions preferred
What You'll Do.
Manage and process the full-cycle Accounts Payable function
including purchase order approvals
and payment processing
Ensure accurate classification of all revenue
including miscellaneous and accounts-payable-related revenue
Support the month-end close process
including preparation of journal entries
and balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts in established corporate formats and in compliance with GAAP
Collect and audit supporting documentation from all hotel revenue centers to ensure compliance with Four Seasons internal controls and local policies
Serve as a liaison between the hotel and Payroll team
supporting income audit
and reconciliation processes
Assist with maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
