4 years Accounting/bookkeeping experience, 2 years related experience, 1 year payroll processing experience, Experience in automated accounting systems

What You'll Do.
Ensure timely payroll preparation
Ensure accurate cost distribution of payroll
Ensure proper classification of accounts payable
Ensure proper payment of expense reimbursements
Ensure proper billing
Ensure appropriate tracking of accounts receivable
Ensure appropriate collection of accounts receivable
Prepare Federal and State payroll tax reports
Interpret company employment policies
Make modification recommendations
Interface with Human Resources on employee benefits
Support Controller with General Ledger
Support Accounts Receivable processing
Support Accounts Receivable tracking
Support preparation of accounts receivable invoices
Support submission of accounts receivable invoices
Reconcile subsidiary ledgers
Process account payable checks
Obtain appropriate approval signatures
Process employee expense accounts
Issue employee expense payments
Perform other duties as assigned

Ensure proper classification and payment of accounts payable and expense reimbursements. Ensure proper billing and appropriate tracking and collection of accounts receivable. Job Responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate payroll operations and work closely with the Human Resources Department to ensure that payroll actions are in conformance with employment and benefits practices and accounting procedures. Preparation of certain Federal and State payroll tax reports. Interpret company employment policies and make modification recommendations in conjunction with payroll activities. Routinely interface with Human Resources on employee benefits issues (deductions, retirement payments, COBRA, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate proce
