Full Job Description
Accounting Assistant Onsite / Full-time Salary: $60-70K DOE We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Accounting Assistant. You will provide support within the Accounting and Human Resources department, handling a high volume set of tasks. You must possess effective communication skills and a high level of confidence in your abilities, as you will work in a fast-paced environment. * Accounts Payable - processing invoices, check runs, and vendor management * Accounts Receivable - billing/invoicing, deposits, and reconciliations * Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions * Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues * Working as an entry-level accountant for payroll-related audit, payroll reports, and other related duties * Assist with annual tax and compliance documents and year end 1099’s * Support accounting activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry * Verify data by comparing it to source documents * Performs other accounting and finance duties as required ## Qualifications * Entry-level position; minimum 2-year college or associate's degree (emphasis/specialization in Accounting, Finance, or related field) * 3 years of relevant Accounting experience * 2 years recent experience with QuickBooks (desktop or online) * Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools * Strong analytical skills; extremely organized with great attention to detail * Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple ## Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
