ABOUT THE ROLE As our Accounting Assistant, you will be instrumental in helping us in our growth, becoming the gatekeeper of our financial data, enabling efficient financial processes and decisions. RESPONSIBILITIES Daily Transaction Processing - Full ownership of recording supplier invoices and Credit Card justifications Champion for our Spend Management Platform (SMP) - Participate in the implementation and daily monitoring of the platform. - Ensure all employees upload their receipts and that the analytical coding is correct. ERP Integration - Perform upstream checks of automated entries from our SMP to our ERP - Verify VAT rates and cost center allocations. Support Tasks - Assist the Senior AP/AR Accountant with bank reconciliations, matching, and basic month-end preparations. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Educational Background - Associate degree in accounting (bac +2) or equivalent Experience - Recent graduates (BTS/DCG) or candidates with 1 or 2 years of experience in a high-volume environment. Technical Aptitude - Basic accounting principles (PCG - French GAAP). - Tech-Agile: You love using modern tools (SaaS) and hate manual paperwork. - Understanding of VAT basics (especially recoverable vs. non-recoverable on travel/meals). Behavior - Service oriented - Ultra-Rigorous: You are bothered by a 0.01EUR discrepancy. Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication in French, good English skil
