What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, 1 year of applicable experience in Accounting or Finance, Experience performing financial reconciliations
Nice to Have
Experience with SAP or similar enterprise financial systems, Familiarity with reconciliation tools or automation platforms, Understanding of ledger balancing, financial research, and audit support processes
What You'll Do.
Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
Monitor daily bank activity and match transactions
Partner with internal teams to obtain documentation and resolve reconciling items
Utilize reconciliation tools
to support efficient monthly and ongoing reconciliations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
and variances in a timely manner
Prepare journal entries and accounting reports to maintain general ledger integrity
and year-end close activities
Analyze trends and identify opportunities for process improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and improve workflows
Assist with internal and external audit documentation and requests
Maintain accurate and organized reconciliation and reporting documentation
Serve as backup for team members and complete additional duties or projects as assigned
